The Festival Village will be the melting pot of colours and thats where the shows and performances will be held at the Sultan Ibrahim Building located at Bukit Timbalan.

When one thinks of Johor Bahru, it is almost invariable that the image of the Sultan Ibrahim Building comes to mind.
Designed by British architectural firm, Messrs Palmer and Turner, the building is a synthesis of colonial, Malay and Saracenic beauty. Construction work started in 1938 but was hampered with the onset of the Second World War. The building was officially declared opened on 3rd November 1942.
This iconic landmark sits lofty and magnificent on top of Bukit Timbalan right in the heart of city, a citadel, guarding and keeping watch over the people of Johor Bahru, a proud symbol of the glorious history of Johor, and surely, today, an assured symbol of the bright and exciting future that lies ahead for the people of Johor It is a link between the past and the present and to the future.
